Project MORE stands together with our entire community for a more just and equal future. Pride Month may look different this year, but we must remember it is our collective experiences and diversity that makes us stronger. Black and other persons of color, many of whom also identified as transgender women were pivotal in starting the Pride movement through protest and demonstration more than 50 years ago. We stand in solidarity with the Black community today and always because Black Lives Matter. The LGBTQ+ community would not be the same without you, and when you hurt so do we. Let’s be safe, show our pride, and continue the fight for progress together.
